The University charged the design team with creating an outdoor space that would draw students and faculty outside without obstructing views to the existing courtyard. The designed roof deck, accessible from the upper level of the existing library at Wentworth is enclosed in glass panels with underlit handrails providing a soft glow in the evening.
Furniture is minimal, flexible, and sturdy. This rooftop deck is a perfect venue for outdoor study sessions, impromptu meetings or a quick power nap before class.
