The Office of the Provost for Advances in Learning (VPAL) had outgrown their office space which included a small conference room that they were using as a production studio, which was not ideal. Sound and ceiling height were a significant challenge. KSID worked with VPAL, Elaine Construction and Communications Design Associates to build a production studio, control room and support spaces. In addition, the VPAL staff moved into new office space replete with editing bays, conference rooms (that are not doubling as studios) and open areas for impromptu meetings and collaboration. New finishes, furniture and lighting were incorporated.
